Impact

Our organ-on-chip technology is gradually reducing use of animal models in basic and translational preclinical research.

Our laboratory is driving discoveries at the intersection of vascular disease, thrombosis, and cancer.

Our research is leading impact in disease modeling, precision medicine, drug discovery, and space biology.

BioinSyst was established in 2016 by Dr. Abhishek Jain.

He leads the group focused on engineering microphysiological systems of human blood and lymphatic vessels and vascularized tissue environments, and innovations in microfluidic instrumentation and analytics. Our staff and trainees regularly win prestigious fellowships and awards.

Our Mission

We are founded on a strong culture of interdisciplinary research, teamwork, and mentoring. Our core philosophy is to strategically pursue curiosity-driven research by surrounding ourselves with the most extraordinary collaborators from science, engineering and medicine, who complement our expertise. Anchoring upon these values, our goal is to contribute new biomedical discoveries and maintain an inspiring place to work.
